bass recordings for Beyond Sanity are finished! Due to the departure of their singer, there will be some delay in the progress… I’ll keep you updated!

In the meantime the Spiralcove promo is coming together as well. Drums are finished, bass guitar is finished and at the moment we’re working on the guitars.

it’s a busy time at RS5! Drum programming for Beyond Sanity is finished, I just have to edit one more song. We start recording bass guitar this weekend.

Other big news: Spiralcove entered the studio for their first promo CD! Drums are already recorded, edits are all done, so next week we start with bass guitar. The promo will contain 3 tracks are will be used for promotional use. I’m really looking forward to the end result of this, because it’s my own band of course!

a small update from the studio:

• Drum programming for Beyond Sanity is 67% done! (2 of the 3 songs are finished ) As soon as the last song is finished, we start recording bass guitar.
• The Spiralcove intro is finished as well and at the moment we’re working on a new song and on a nice cover song.
• I’m also working on 3 other projects now, so it’s quite a busy time!

New projects on the way!

• I’m recording some vocals now for a fellow Portuguese producer to use as an example on his website. It’s a heavy rock song with some nice metal influences, very melodic and powerfull. As soon as it’s finished, it will be posted on this site!
• Other project I’m working on is an intro we can use with Spiralcove to open upcoming gigs. A first version is almost ready, so I’m looking forward to hear what the rest of the boys thinks about it
• Last project I’m working on is to get a decent MP3 player on this site, so I can show of some work from the past… but that may take a bit longer than I thought… stay tuned!

Well, it’s about time for a new website! And here it is!

At the moment I’m working on several projects:

• Beyond Sanity returns to RS5 for the recordings of their second demo. This time the demo will contain 3 tracks. The songs will be a bit heavier than their first demo we recorded a year ago. We’re recording drums as we spreak.
• With a couple of friends I’m working on a cover song which I can’t tell a lot about now… so be patient and check this site regularly for news
• My band Spiralcove is working on new material. With our new guitar player Marco new fresh ideas come up for songs. This summer will be spent on writing new tracks and we’re looking forward to hitting the stage again in fall!
